Genazzano has a Master Plan that considers a long-term view of the uses of various facilities and spaces on the campus to ensure our capacity to continue to deliver standards of educational excellence and opportunity for young women of today and tomorrow.
Projects under the College Master Plan include firstly, a new Centre for the Performing Arts. This essential new development is the focus of a Capital Appeal, reflecting the educational priority and strategic importance of this project to the future of the College.
Other future developments under the Master Plan include a new home for rowing and restoration of the beautiful historic Wardell building. These proposed essential improvements and new developments can only be implemented with the financial support of the College community and we therefore seek your support and thank our generous donors.
Genazzano's long history of pre-eminence in both the performing and visual arts is well recognised. Genazzano students consistently receive awards for excellence such as the Victorian Government's VCE Top Arts program and perform equally in less formal settings. Their continual achievements are a tribute to the dedication and calibre of both teaching staff and students, despite the constraints of our current facilities.
Our current Performing Arts Centre (PAC) is significantly limited both in size and in the technical sophistication that modern performance now demands.

The proposed Performing and Visual Arts Centre will represent a new era in the delivery of excellence of the arts within the College community. The building will be a purpose-designed facility, catering to the needs of both music and drama. The Foyer to the building will also provide a gathering area for the College community and a gallery for the display of visual arts.
The performance space will seat 450 people, with associated support facilities, including practice rooms, rehearsal room, green room and ancillary services. The design of this state-of-the-art centre will also accommodate wider use from community groups.
The new Performing and Visual Arts Centre will be funded through a combination of College reserves, capital works budget, loans and money raised through the Building Appeal. Government funding is not available for capital works.
The Building Appeal, under the Chairmanship of Professor Peter Choong, was launched the evening of the 2005 Grand Winter Ball (Le Gran Bal d'Hiver). That evening initial donations of $200,000 were announced. The Ball also raised another $135,000, giving the Appeal a strong start in 2006. In October 2006 we reached our first major milestone of $1,000,000.
The College is most grateful to those who have responded to the Appeal by making a gift or pledge over five years and also to current parents who have responded so generously to the option to make a voluntary donation when paying their school fees.
Gifts of $5000 and more are recognised especially through the Principal's Appeal Network.
