The Genazzano swimming pool is the home of the GenAquatic swimming club. The club is committed to the complete development of swimmers. Members consist of swimmers, both female and male, from Genazzano and the local community.
GenAquatic provides training opportunities throughout the swimming year, including school holidays. Our enthusiastic accredited coaches implement structured training programs targeting the major annual swimming carnivals specific to each squad level - from new into squad, to state and national levels.
Our squad program caters for all competent lap swimmers of varying abilities, both male and female.
Swimmers progress through our squad categories, refining competitive strokes, building fitness and improving race techniques. Swimmers decide on their level of commitment and work to achieve their personal swimming goals.
Membership is available for squad swimmers wishing to take part in external competitions. Club members train with the Bronze, Silver and Gold squads.
At GenAquatic, we are inclusive of swimmers with disabilities (SWD) and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD).
This stroke development squad is for swimmers that have completed all levels in Learn to Swim and wish to continue their swimming. Swimmers can improve their technique and fitness, within a fun environment. There are opportunities to compete if desired. Times are recorded to encourage improvement.
Stroke development lessons run for 1.5 hours each session. It is recommended that swimmers attend two to three sessions per week.
This development squad caters for advanced swimmers who are interested in either improving their fitness or swimming at a competitive level. Swimmers in the development squad train for 1.5 hours per session, which includes dry land training. Members are dedicated to training in order to achieve highly refined stroke technique, fitness and stress relief.
Ongoing times are recorded to observe improvements through training and preparation for competition. Development swimmers train two to four sessions per week. Swimmers are allocated lanes according to their ability. It is recommended that swimmers attend three to four sessions per week.
The Gold squad is advanced swimmers who train for 1.5 - 2 hours per session, which includes dry land training. Members are dedicated to training in order to achieve highly refined stroke technique, fitness and stress relief.
Ongoing times are recorded to observe improvements through training and preparation for competition. State swimmers train three to six sessions per week. Swimmers are allocated lanes according to their ability. It is recommended that swimmers attend four or more sessions per week.

Swimming Victoria Membership is compulsory for any swimmer entering the water and renewed on 1 July of each year for all GenAquatic members. This is done online at Swimming Victoria through the member’s portal.
Fees are to be paid at the beginning of each term. Please note that Amex payments will incur a 1% surcharge.All prices above include GST and are subject to change at any time without notice.
