2016 Welcome from the Principal

Friday 29 January will be an exciting day where we begin welcoming our students to Genazzano FCJ College for the start of the 2016 school year. I hope to meet many of you this Friday and next Monday.

The first day of the school year is always one of my favourite days and this year is even more special as I begin my journey at Genazzano FCJ College. Just like you, I am sure I will have butterflies in my stomach as I face a new challenge, a new venture and a new routine; however, most importantly, I am thrilled and honoured to be Principal of this exceptional College.

The beginning of the 2016 school year is just a few days away, and, as a new comer to this learning community, I am very eager to meet all students and families and keen to learn more about the school community as quickly as possible. I wish to build upon the successes of each past year and fashion a vision for the future. There will be new goals to achieve and new students and staff to welcome and work with. I look forward to a wonderful year ahead.

You will be pleased to hear that much has occurred at the College over the Christmas break including exciting renovations to the Madeleine Centre and improvements to many areas around the school. Extensive painting and maintenance works have been completed together with various upgrades to our IT network. The school is in great order for the start of the year.
