​Dr Ann Gervasoni

Ann Gervasoni is Associate Professor, Numeracy at Monash University. She is deputy leader of the Faculty Mathematics, Science and Technology Academic Community and Course Leader of Early Years and Primary Programs. Ann’s previous professional appointments include primary school teacher and leader, mathematics consultant with the Catholic Education Office Melbourne, and Senior Lecturer at Australian Catholic University in Ballarat. Ann was awarded an Australian Learning and Teaching Council Citation in 2009 for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning, the 2011 Mathematics Education Group of Australasia’s Research Award as part of the Early Numeracy Research Project Team, and the 2016 Mathematics Education Research Group of Australasia’s Beth Southwell Practical Implications Award for Let’s Count. Ann is an alumna of Genazzano and the 2017 Federation University Alumna of the Year.
