Ms Geraldine Butler

Geraldine has been involved in the education sector in Victoria for over 40 years, leading teams from primary to tertiary institutions. Whilst at Australian Catholic University (ACU) she was employed as Campus Minister, then Campus Life Coordinator and recently as Team Leader in Community and Professional Placements in the School of Education. She has been a volunteer at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) for nearly five years and has been involved in the Schools Program, Fundraising and more recently in the Foodbank. Geraldine endeavours to break open the narrative that refugees and people seeking asylum are our neighbours, teachers, colleagues and friends. Geraldine is an alumna of Genazzano and graduated in 1973.
