Your guide to the enrolment process
Step 1: Experience the Genazzano difference
We invite you to come and experience the Genazzano FCJ College difference at one of our Open Mornings. Please register your attendance here.
Step 2: Apply
Complete an online application for enrolment including a $250 non-refundable application fee per child.
You will receive correspondence from our Enrolments Team confirming receipt of the application and the next steps in the enrolment journey.
Step 3: Enrolment Interview
As a guide, enrolment interviews are conducted two years prior to commencement. The enrolment interview provides you and your daughter with an opportunity to meet key staff and will cover various topics such as your daughter’s favourite subjects and interests; and her learning, medical or pastoral needs, which will assist with her transition. It is also a chance for us to get to know you and your daughter a little more.
Step 4: Formal Offer
Following the enrolment interview, a formal offer of a place may be made. To accept the offer, a non-refundable enrolment fee of $1,500 is required along with the completed paperwork by the due date. In signing these documents, families acknowledge they have read and understood all College expectations and procedures. Once the paperwork has been received, our Enrolments Team will send correspondence confirming your daughter’s place at the College.
Step 5: Transition
Details regarding your daughter’s orientation and transition will be communicated to your family and an information pack provided during the orientation process.
As a guide, the year prior to commencement, students with confirmed places for Year 5 and Year 7, will undertake diagnostic testing. We use the results of this test to provide an initial academic profile and to formulate the best learning outcomes for your daughter.
Step 6: Welcome!
Your daughter is ready to begin her learning journey at Genazzano. We are certain by the time she arrives for her first day, she will already feel at home in her new surroundings.

Enrolment Interviews – Years 5 and 7 for commencement in 2024, 2025 and 2026
Enrolment Interviews for Year 5 and Year 7 students, commencing enrolment at the College in 2024, 2025 and 2026, will be conducted in March 2023. Interviews are conducted with prospective students and parents and provide a welcoming environment for us to meet with you and your daughter, in an informal setting.
If you are interested in a place for 2023 and 2024, we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible, as places are limited.
