The Genazzano House system fosters a spirit of loyalty and collaboration and offers students participation in a range of sports throughout the year.

The six Houses at Genazzano FCJ College
The six Genazzano Houses are named after distinguished women who made a significant contribution to the College.
Corry
Red- Mrs Ellen Corry, first boarder and first President of Old Girls’ Association (now Alumnae Association)
d'Houët
Royal Blue- Marie Madeleine d’Houët, foundress of FCJ Sisters.
Douglas
Magenta- Mother Philomena Douglas, Principal of Genazzano 1932- 1958.
Gerda
Green- Mother Gerda Prytz, first Genazzano pupil to enter FCJ Order.
Stock
Gold- Mother Stanislaus Stock, first Principal of Genazzano, 1889-1914.
Winter
White- Miss Mary Winter, honoured past pupil; the College Prize for Loyalty is still given in her honour.
Students at Genazzano FCJ College participate in many House events throughout the year. Some of these House events are sport competitions. The inter-house sport program is designed to provide competitive sporting situations, whilst fostering House spirit, sportsmanship and participation for all students.
- Term One – Track and Field Carnival
- Term Two – Cross-Country Carnival
- Term Three – Indoor Rowing
- Term Four – Swimming/Diving Carnival
- Term Four – Team Triathlon
The athletics and swimming/diving competitions are major whole College carnivals involving all students and staff from Prep to Year 12. They are held at external venues to the College. House Prefects and Captains select their competitors, with an emphasis on including all students in events.
