Year 11 Course Structure
In Year 11, students typically focus on Units 1 & 2 of their chosen VCE studies, completing one unit per semester. At Genazzano, students undertake six VCE studies in Year 11, each consisting of two units (usually a Unit 1 and Unit 2, unless accelerating in a Unit 3 & 4 study), resulting in a total of 12 units.
Alongside these, Year 11 students also participate in school-based Religious Education, Physical Education, and the GenAchieve Program (including GenStar and Mentor).
All students must complete at least one Unit 1 & 2 study English (or English as an Additional Language, for eligible students), and undertake 10 VCE units (across 5 VCE Studies).
